The Exposition stood on the Marina, Crissy Field and Fort Mason. We are asking photographers of every level, phone or camera, to stand where it stood and send us the picture. Every photograph that plays in the film carries the credit its maker asks for.
Photographs from inside the Presidio, Crissy Field and Fort Mason are national park land: stay on paths and follow posted rules. Aerial and drone shots are flown under permit by the production and are not accepted from contributors.
You keep your rights. We get to use the picture.
By sending a photograph or video you confirm that you made it and own it, and you give Keith Adler and Hollow House Films a permanent, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use it in 288 Days: in every cut and version of the film, in its trailers and clips, on this website, in screenings and broadcasts, on streaming and video platforms, and in the film's promotion, in any medium now known or later developed, with the right to crop, grade, restore and combine it with other material.
The picture stays yours: you keep the copyright and can go on using, selling and publishing it however you like, and the licence you give us is non-exclusive. The credit you ask for is shown when your picture appears; if you do not ask for one, we show your name. We may choose not to use a picture, and we cannot return or pay for submissions. Please do not send pictures of people close to the camera without their permission, and do not send anything you did not take yourself.

The map lays the 1915 fairground over the city. The stops below follow it, west to east.
East bank of the lagoon, on the path off Baker St between North Point and Bay, the rotunda dead ahead across the water
24mm-equivalent, tripod at eye level, horizon dead level, rotunda centerd with the colonnade running off both sides and the full reflection in the water. Leave the top third to sky.

Gimbal or steady handheld at chest height, 24mm, walking slowly (half pace) so the columns pass at a steady rhythm. Keep the rotunda entering frame at the end of the walk.

Tight and macro: 50mm and closer, filling the frame with one surface at a time, the ivory wall texture, the ochre of the frieze, green paint on ironwork, the terra-cotta of any roof tile, water reflecting the ivory. Shallow focus, slow drifts. These are texture plates the film lays Guérin's swatches over.

Stand on the Scott St centerline (safely, from the crosswalk) at 24mm, then a slow tilt from the street up to empty sky, the tower would fill 435 ft of it. Hold on the sky.
